About the job : 
 

As Lighting & Compositing Supervisor, you’ll define and guide the visual mood and final image quality of our stylized animated feature film. Working closely with the Director, Production Designer, and VFX Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of lighting and compositing in Unreal Engine to ensure the film’s artistic vision is achieved.

Key Responsabilities :
 

• Define the film’s lighting style and visual tone in collaboration with the Director and Production Designer

• Supervise the lighting and compositing process across sequences, ensuring consistency and quality

• Develop efficient lighting workflows and templates for Unreal Engine

• Guide the lighting team in achieving depth, mood, and atmosphere while maintaining real-time performance

• Oversee shot progression from rough lighting to final composite

• Review and validate final shots, ensuring they meet artistic and technical standards

• Provide feedback and mentorship to artists

• Collaborate with other departments (Assets, FX, Lookdev, Comp) to ensure seamless integration

• Support scheduling, resourcing, and recruitment in partnership with production

Must have :
 

• Extensive experience supervising lighting/compositing on animated features or high-end series

• Strong artistic eye for light, color, and mood

• Advanced knowledge of Unreal Engine lighting systems and compositing workflows

• Familiar with performance optimization for real-time rendering

• Skilled in cross-departmental collaboration and technical problem-solving

• Clear communicator and inspiring team leader

• Bonus: Experience with stylized animation and real-time pipelines

• Bonus: English proficiency is a plus in our bilingual environment
